On June 29, 2021 – Amythyst Kiah made her Grand Ole Opry debut. Dressed in a custom made suit by Elise Fife, Kiah stepped into the circle for the first time to perform a solo rendition of the classic Opry standard “Will The Circle Be Unbroken” and her Grammy-nominated song “Black Myself.” Watch a clip of the performance here.
Her Opry debut caps a a three-night Nashville stand. She headlined Lightning 100’s Sunday Night Live (6.27) followed by a “charismatic [and] compelling” (MusicRow) performance with Allison Russell at WMOT/NPR’s Wired In (6/28).
