The Reds, Pinks & Purples is a San Francisco post-indie band led by Glenn Donaldson, who releases songs like monthly postcards to a loyal following. After many years on the fringe of acceptability, he decided to make some honest-to-god pop music, and since 2019 has written over 200 songs and released 10 vinyl LP’s on Slumberland, Tough Love, and lately with Fire Records. From humble beginnings as a home-recording project, it has since blossomed into a 5-piece live unit with several USA/UK tours, appearances at Pitchfork Fest London, Woodsist Fest and BBC6, and support slots for indie legends such as Destroyer and Guided By Voices.
