In the heart of Woodstock, NY, cradled by the shadow of Overlook Mountain, the
Helm Family Midnight Ramble is a rock n’ roll review celebrating the iconic
songbook of Levon Helm, The Band, and the cannon of American roots music. A
living tradition born in the hallowed hemlock and bluestone walls of Levon’s home,
the legendary Midnight Rambles were built by Levon in the spirit of renewal and
community.
Guided by Levon’s daughter, Amy Helm, the Midnight Ramble has continued it’s
evolution. Amy is honoring her father’s vision for both Levon Helm Studios and The
Midnight Ramble by creating a community of musicians that crosses generational
and musical lines. Calling together an extended family of musicians and special
guests, the Helm Family Midnight Ramble invites the audience into a singular
musical experience, threading the ties of the past into the present.
