In conjunction with the FreshGrass Festival, music news outlet No Depression‘s third running of the Singer-Songwriter Award features our very own Anna Tivel for this year’s competition.
Hailing from Portland Oregon, Tivel is a skilled lyricist with the ability to move her audience through shared experience. Having toured hundreds of thousands of miles already, she wears her heart on her sleeve performing through each city. Her strengths of songwriting lie in small slices of life that blossom into beautiful stories. With her four full-length album, The Question, out on Portland’s well-loved Fluff & Gravy Records, Tivel continues to touch on a common human thread.
