ELIANE ELIAS WINS LATIN GRAMMY

Eliane Elias’ critically acclaimed release Dance of Time (Concord) just won a Latin GRAMMY for Best Latin Jazz / Jazz Album. Recorded in Brazil, the release features Randy Brecker, Mike Mainieri, Mark Kibble, Amilton Godoy, Toquinho and João Bosco. The tune “Little Paradise” from the album now has over 2 million listens on Spotify and continues to grow. The Guardian raves “As a vocalist, the Brazilian Eliane Elias radiates as much starry smooth-jazzy hipness as Diana Krall, but as an improvising pianist she’s in a different league: a wellspring of polished bebop lines and skittish flourishes. … [a] memorable session…****.” Dance of Time is the follow up to the GRAMMY winning release Made In Brazil (Concord) and a new release is planned for Spring 2018.
